Yuppeeee, it's finally the weekend! here are just a few things I've collected over the past week.

I am really enjoying the simplicity in line mixed with prints in this collection by twentysevennames

weekend things #2

I know it has been forever since my last post. I've actually been writing things, but just not been posting them as I have not had the time to organise the images. Life has been crazy on this side, but I shall soon share all that's been experienced and lived in my absence.
For  now let's start off the week with some photo's snapped this weekend.

Ok i know it's a little late, but here are some things I did this weekend:

Centre de Beauté Indien - having recomended this place to friends fo eyebrow threading, I decided to finally try it out. I don't have very thick brows so I'm always a bit weary about having someone else touch them, but I'm not that good at keeping them tidy myself so I took the plunge and went for my first threading on Saturday. This place is great, you don't need an appointment and you'll be in and out in 5 mins and only 7€ out of pocket.

 

 Nanashi - rue de Paradis in the 10th is a little gem in the rough. Having a lot of our manufacturers in this road, I was constantly coming here for meetings, but it was only the day I gave the taxi driver the wrong address and had to walk down the entire road that I discovered how much more there was to offer on this little street off Saint-Denis. Nanashi definately caught my eye, but it hasn't been untill this past weekend that I went to try it out. It's a fantastic collaboration of east meets west, with Japanese inspired dishes, deli salads and delicious cakes.

Le Manoir - A new sight to see when coming to Paris. Personally I just went in to askinformation and I could possbly have peed in my pants, that guy walking was real, and let me just say, I wouldn't like to bump into him in a dark alley.

6 things to do in paris this weekend

•  get an art overload with a visit to Art Paris at the Grand Palais

• Saturday is predicted to be super sunny  and tempeartures in the 20's so take a bike ride 

•  go for a picnic in the park

• and don't forget to put on some sunnies because yes you guessed it, the sun is back!

•  have an apero on the seine

• sundays in Paris are brunch and vintage market days, so why not enjoy them together at the Tombées du camion stand  (aux Puces de saint-Ouen)

what I learn't this weekend

• Merci is closed on a sunday :(
• A nice pair of black skinny pants does always save the day
• I must just accept no matter how hard I try, my french is meant to be spoken with an accent
• Summer is still in the far future
• I've realised that as soon as I have complemented a friend on an item of fashion, it is always followed by "Where did you get it?"
• I can not say no to my friend Lisa's vintage store (poor credit card)
• I can handle pink, but these are just hideous shoot me now if they become a trend, I will die!
• Live stream fashion shows are the future
• Steamed broccoli is delicious and oh so healthy
