farewell my summer love

Ok, so I know I haven't posted anything in such a long time, but been away on holiday to soak up the last little bit of the summer sun in the south of France.

Now back to Paris, where so sad to say, summer has abandoned us and the autumn chill is slowly starting to set in :(

So as a farewell to the summer I thought I'd share a few of my top summer trends:

  • Colourful nails,  and I'll still be sporting these colours well into autumn

  • The wedge shoe, how Mr Ferragamo did us a favour with his inovative wedge heel.

  • Feathers

  • Headbands

  • the simple clutch, less is more...

  • Florals

  • Boater hats

  • vintage denim

  • Moccasin booties

these are a few of my favourite things...this week ♥

There are so many things that I read about or just purely see on a daily basis, but seriously if I had to write a post about all of those things, I'd never stop blogging!
So I decided that I'm going to do a weekly feature on the things that stuck out the most!

    Style Rocks

Don't know what to wear when rocking the summer music festivals?
Well having seen what was worn at the Fuji Rock music festival this past weekend, anything and everything goes, so don't be shy and express yourself!

    Shape Sensation

The Triumph Inspiration Award was founded in 2008, and challenges students from all over the world to use their talent, artistic vision and inspiration to conceptualize a unique lingerie showpiece according to the theme : SHAPE SENSATION

Sofie Insam, who won the competition in France and will in September join all the other finalists in London to see who triumphs Triumph.

Her inspiration was the human desire for body perfection:

As a “shape sensation” my design is a “moving project” with exploding balloons to represent transformation from imperfect shape to perfect. The balloons are filled with many colors so the blast transforms a white, pure, sterile, transparent, almost dead-looking silhouette into one of life, feeling and joy. The colors will stick to the white lace.

Well done Sofie, and good luck in London!
